Firestone

July 2011

Creating your own CMS for every project is often not possible. So instead you use some out of the box product that often doesn't fit your needs.

Firestone helps. It's not another CMS, instead it helps you build a system to manage the data used on the website. This data and what you can do with it is entirely up to you! The system is extremely flexible.

The development is currently in progress.

Catering Website

December 2010

Designing a website in less than four hours is, at least for me, an unusual commission.

The result of such a commission is this design.

(Logo and text was replaced with dummies.)

ahhh jah!

August 2010

The firm, where I did my vocational training, wanted a blog. And they wanted it to break out of their normal style.

The typography in the header and the icons are self drawn.

Matt Good Vexel

March 2010

Music has always been very inspiring for me. Especially the music of Matt Good and is former band From First To Last.

I created the vexel for a new design, unfortunately I never finished that design.

Nevertheless this vexel is one of my most detailed ones yet.

March 2010

As a an exercise for final examinations (of my vocational training) and to practice project management, we were assigned to create a concept for and to realize the website of the famer's association Riedstadt-Ost.

The Fancy Version

January 2010

The first version of this website was divided into two versions: the simple and the fancy version.

The design of the fancy version represented my original style. With a lot of pink blood and a big vexel.

The Simple Version

January 2010

The first version of this website was divided into two versions: the simple and the fancy version.

With the simple version I tried to show how mich I learned since the beginning of my vocational training and that I actually could design with a more "serious" style.

Heartless

February 2009

I originally designed "Heartless" for my first website. The actual layout of the website was not very special though.

A few months later I recycled the design for a poster, which I placed on the wall behind my desk.

Abi-Logo-Contest

August 2008

"Abitur" is the university entrance qualification in Germany and traditionally the students decide on a motto for their graduation class. Often the motto will be printed on shirts and the yearbook. It's also often the theme of the prom.

Schools were able to send in their motto (and the design of it) on the website. Users and a jury decided on a winner.

The contest took place in 2008 and 2009, unfortunately it hasn't taken place since then.

Quantity

July 2007

Shortly after the beginning of my vocational training I created this design.

Its dimensions (2000px x 2000px) were rather uncommon (1024px x 768px was the common screen resolution). The content of the website can be moved, so that the user can pick their favorite spot in the design and move the content to that place.

Addiction

May 2007

"Addiction" was one of the more uncommon designs that I created for my first website. The model that takes up moste of the space is Audrey Kitching.

The special thing in this layout is the menu. When hovered it spits out bubbles.

The design was created shortly before the beginning of my vocational training.
